Culin is a French municipality with 745 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement Vienne and the canton L'Isle-d'Abeau (until 2015: canton Saint-Jean-de-Bournay ). The inhabitants are called culinois in French .

Culin is about 29 kilometers east of Vienne . Culin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Agnin-sur-Bion in the north, Les Éparres in the northeast, Tramolé in the east and southeast, Sainte-Anne-sur-Gervonde in the south and Meyrieu-les-Étangs in the west and southwest.
