Heyrieux is located southeast of Lyon . Heyrieux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Grenay in the north and northeast, Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in the east, Bonnefamilie and Diémoz in the southeast, Valencin in the southwest, Saint-Pierre-de-Chandieu in the west and northwest.
