The Communauté de communes des Collines du Nord Dauphiné is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Isère département , whose administrative headquarters are in Heyrieux . This is located about 20 km southeast of Lyon on the north-western edge of the Isère department and the historic Dauphiné region . The "hills" (French: collines ) in the name refer to the gentle elevations that characterize the landscape south of the Lyon plain. The community association consists of ten communities on an area of ​​138.0 km ² . René Poretta is the president of the community association.

history

The community association was created at the end of 2001 and initially comprised seven member communities. The communities Bonnefamille , Roche (both 2007) and Diémoz (2012) were later added.

tasks

The competencies required include developing and promoting economic activities and spatial planning based on a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association operates the garbage collection and disposal. In addition, the association promotes cultural events and determines housing policy.
