The Communauté de communes de Bièvre Est is a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Isère département , whose administrative headquarters are in Colombe . It is named after the Plateau de Bièvre , an elongated valley between Voiron near Grenoble and the Rhone Valley near Roussillon . The community association consists of 14 communities in the eastern part of this level on an area of ​​154.4 km ² . Didier Rambaud is the president of the community association.

history

The association, originally founded with 13 municipalities at the turn of the year 2001/2002, was joined by the municipality of Bévenais on January 1, 2012.

tasks

The compulsory skills include the development and promotion of economic activities as well as spatial planning based on a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association operates the road maintenance department, sewage disposal (in part) and garbage collection and disposal. The association also builds and maintains cultural institutions.
