Bévenais is located about 59 kilometers southeast of Lyon and about 35 kilometers northwest of Grenoble . Bévenais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Longechenal in the north and northwest, Le Grand-Lemps in the north and east, Sillans in the south and La Frette in the west.
