Le Bouchage is located about 33 kilometers west-northwest of Chambéry on the Rhone . Le Bouchage is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brangues in the north, Groslée-Saint-Benoît in the east and northeast, Les Avenières in the southeast, Veyrins-Thuellin in the south, Vézeronce-Curtin in the southwest, Morestel in the west and Saint-Victor-de-Morestel in the Northwest.
