Domarin is a French commune with 1,661 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Saint-Alban-de-Roche is part of the La Tour-du-Pin arrondissement and the Bourgoin-Jallieu canton (until 2015: Bourgoin-Jallieu-Sud canton ).

Domarin is about 40 kilometers southeast of Lyon . Domarin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bourgoin-Jallieu in the north and northeast, Maubec in the east and southeast, Chèzeneuve in the south and southwest, and Saint-Alban-de-Roche in the west and southwest.
