Panossas is a commune with 666 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Panossas is located in the Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin and in the canton Charvieu-Chavagneux (until 2015: canton Crémieu ). The inhabitants are called Panossiens .

Panossas is about 31 kilometers east-southeast of Lyon . Panossas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chozeau in the north, Veyssilieu in the east, Frontonas in the south and Chamagnieu in the west.
