Janneyrias is a French commune with 1,829 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Janneyrias belongs administratively to the Arrondissement La Tour-du-Pin and is part of the canton Charvieu-Chavagneux (until 2015: canton Pont-de-Chéruy ). The inhabitants are called Janneysiens .
geography
Janneyrias is located 21 kilometers east of Lyon in the northwest of the Isère department. Janneyrias is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villette-d'Anthon in the north, Anthon in the northeast, Charvieu-Chavagneux in the east, Colombier-Saugnieu in the south and Pusignan in the west.
The A432 autoroute runs along the western edge of the municipality .
