Sérézin-de-la-Tour is located about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Lyon . Sérézin-de-la-Tour is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ruy in the north, Cessieu in the east and northeast, Saint-Victor-de-Cessieu in the east and southwest, Succieu in the south, Les Éparres in the southwest and Nivolas-Vermelle in the west. Sérézin is on the Paris – Marseille railway line .
