Moras is located about 35 kilometers east-southeast of Lyon . Moras is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villemoirieu in the north and northwest, Dizimieu in the northeast, Saint-Hilaire-de-Brens in the east and southeast, Vénérieu in the south and southeast, Saint-Marcel-Bel-Accueil in the south and Veyssilieu in the west.
