Saint-Bueil is a French municipality with 723 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs administratively to the Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin and is part of the canton of Chartreuse-Guiers (until 2015: canton of Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Bueillois .

Saint-Bueil is located about 20 kilometers west-southwest of Chambéry . Saint-Bueil is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Martin-de-Vaulserre in the north, Saint-Albin-de-Vaulserre in the north and northeast, Voissant in the east, Merlas in the south, Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine in the southwest and Velanne in the West and northwest.
