Saint-Albin-de-Vaulserre is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Domessin in the north and north-east, Saint-Béron in the east, Voissant in the south and south-east, Saint-Bueil in the south and south-west, Saint-Martin-de-Vaulserre in the west and south-west as well Saint-Jean-d'Avelanne to the west.
