Succieu is a French municipality with 735 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Saint-Alban-de-Roche is part of the La Tour-du-Pin arrondissement and the Bourgoin-Jallieu canton (until 2015: Bourgoin-Jallieu-Sud canton ). The inhabitants call themselves Saint-Albanais .

Succieu is about 50 kilometers southeast of Lyon . Succieu is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sérézin-de-la-Tour in the north, Saint-Victor-de-Cessieu in the east and north-east, Torchefelon in the east, Biol in the south and south-east, Châteauvilain in the south and south-west and Les Éparres in the west and south-west .
