Septème is a French commune with 2,063 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vienne and the canton of Vienne-1 (until 2015: canton of Vienne-Nord ).
geography
Septème is about 26 kilometers south-southeast of Lyon and about twelve kilometers east-northeast of Vienne . Septème is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luzinay in the north and northwest, Saint-Just-Chaleyssin in the east and northeast, Oytier-Saint-Oblas in the east, Moidieu-Détourbe in the south and southeast, Estrablin in the south and southwest, Pont-Évêque in the west and Southwest and Serpaize in the west and northwest.
