Saint-Prim is located about ten kilometers south-southwest of Vienne on the Rhône . Saint-Prim is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chonas-l'Amballan in the north, Reventin-Vaugris in the north-east, Les Côtes-d'Arey in the east, Auberives-sur-Varèze in the south-east, Clonas-sur-Varèze in the south, and Saint-Clair -du-Rhône in the west and south-west and Condrieu in the north-west.
