The Florida State Road 33 is a state highway in the US state of Florida , on a length of 69 kilometers of Lakeland in Polk County up to Mascotte in Lake County leads. The road is operated by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
Route
The road begins as the north turn off US Highway 92 in downtown Lakeland. It crosses Interstate 4 on the northeastern outskirts of the city . In the further course in branches Polk City , the State Road 559 to the southeast. Shortly before it ends, the road branches off to the west in Groveland and the route splits with State Road 50 for the last four kilometers to Mascotte .
