The Florida State Road 23 (short- FL 23 ) is a partially completed state highway in the US state of Florida , the north-south direction is in. It begins at FL 21 in Middleburg and ends on Interstate 10 in Duval County west of Jacksonville .
By 2016, it is expected to run a further 46.5 mi / 74.8 km as a toll road from World Golf Village on Interstate 95 via Green Cove Springs to Middleburg, for a total length of 57.9 mi / 93.1 km.
Route
The State Road begins in Middleburg in Clay County and heads north into Duval County west of Jacksonville, where it first crosses FL 228 and then meets and ends on Interstate 10 .
