The Florida State Road 16 (short- FL 16 ) is a state highway in the US state of Florida , the east-west direction runs in. It begins on State Road 121 in Raiford , Union County and ends on US Highway 1 in St. Augustine , St. Johns County .
Route
The State Road begins on State Road 121 in Raiford and heads southeast to Starke in Bradford County , where it meets US Highway 301 and State Roads 100 , 200, and 230 . At Green Cove Springs further east it meets US Highway 17 and then crosses the St. Johns River on the Shands Bridge . The road later joins Interstate 95 , eventually ending on US Highway 1 in St. Augustine.
