The Florida State Road 35 is a state highway in the US state of Florida , on a length of 288 kilometers of Punta Gorda in Charlotte County to the Silver Springs east of Ocala in Marion County leads. The road is operated by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Route

Except for the last section from Belleview , the road is not signposted, but follows various US highways as a hidden name . The SR 35 first follows US Highway 17 to Fort Meade . On the following section to Bartow , the US 17 also shares the route with the US 98 . Then the State Road follows the US 98 until shortly before Dade City , where the route also takes up the US 301 to Ridge Manor . The State Road then follows US 301 to Belleview . The last, approximately 17 km long section now leads to the Silver Springs, now designated as open State Road 35.
