The Florida State Road 5A (short FL 5A ) is a state highway in the US state of Florida , the South-North direction is in. It is also called Nova Road .
The State Road begins on US Highway 1 and State Roads A1A and 5 in Port Orange and ends after 25 kilometers in Ormond Beach on US Highway 1 and State Road 5.

After the junction from the route of US 1 in the south of Port Orange, FL 5A runs in a north-westerly direction. In the southwest of the city the road meets State Road 421 and in South Daytona the State Road 400 , which connects to Interstate 4 . FL 5A is crossed to the west of Daytona Beach by US Highway 92 and State Road 600 , which connects Daytona International Speedway with the city center. In its further course the road meets State Roads 430 and 40 and ends after 25 kilometers south of Tomoka State Park at US 1 in Ormond Beach.
