Wegerisen

The Wegenerisen ( Norwegian for Wegenereis ) is a region in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located in the southern part of Fimbulheimen and belongs to the Wegenerinland ice cream .
The name of the region goes back to Norwegian cartographers. It is named after the German geoscientist and polar researcher Alfred Wegener (1880–1930).
