The Dråpane ( Norwegian for drop ) are a group of nunataks in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . They rise up immediately north of the Urnosa rock spur near the southwestern end of Kirwanveggen in Maudheimvidda .
Norwegian cartographers gave the group its descriptive name and mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition .
