Marsaz is a French municipality with 761 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Drôme des collines (until 2015 Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse ).

Marsaz is located about 27 kilometers north-northeast of Valence . Marsaz is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bren in the north, Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse in the east, Clérieux in the southeast, Chavannes in the south and Chantemerle-les-Blés in the west.
