Jocelyn Towne (born August 8, 1976 in Nevada City , California ) is an American actress , producer and director .

Life

Jocelyn Towne's father, Roger Towne, is the screenwriter of The Natural and The Recruit, and her uncle is the screenwriter Robert Towne . Her brother Nick Towne is a writer and director, and her cousin Katherine Towne is an actress. She has appeared in various supporting roles in film and television, including Havoc 2005, Gilmore Girls 2007 and The Selling 2011. She made her directorial debut in 2013 with I Am I, followed by We Will Never Have Paris co-directing with Simon Helberg. She married the actor Simon Helberg on July 15, 2007 . Their daughter Adeline was born on May 8, 2012 and their son Wilder was born on April 23, 2014.
