Érôme is a French municipality with 811 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Tain-l'Hermitage . The inhabitants are called Érômains .
geography
Érôme is located about 20 kilometers north-northwest of Valence on the Rhône , which forms the western municipal boundary. Érôme is surrounded by the neighboring communities Serves-sur-Rhône in the north, Ponsas in the north and northeast, Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals in the northeast, Chantemerle-les-Blés in the east and southeast, Larnage in the south and southeast, Crozes-Hermitage and Gervans in the south and Vion in the west.
The National Route 7 runs through the municipality .
