Saint-Paul-lès-Romans is a French commune with 1,822 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Romans-sur-Isère (until 2015: canton of Romans-sur-Isère-2 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Paulois .

Saint-Paul-lès-Romans is located about 24 kilometers northeast of Valence on the Isère . Saint-Paul-lès-Romans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châtillon-Saint-Jean in the north, Saint-Lattier in the east and northeast, Eymeux in the east, Beauregard-Baret in the south, Chatuzange-le-Goubet in the southwest, Romans-sur- Isère in the west and Génissieux in the north-west.
The Romans-Saint-Paul airfield is located in the municipality.
