Saint-Paul-lès-Romans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châtillon-Saint-Jean in the north, Saint-Lattier in the east and northeast, Eymeux in the east, Beauregard-Baret in the south, Chatuzange-le-Goubet in the southwest, Romans-sur- Isère in the west and Génissieux in the north-west.
