Jaillans is a French commune in the northern departments of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .
geography
Jaillans is on the left side of the Isère river , about ten kilometers southeast of Bourg-de-Péage and almost 25 kilometers east of Valence (as the crow flies). The municipal area with the main settlement in the center has an area of 9.04 km² and is nestled between the Vercors Mountains in the east, a large forest area in the west and the Isère in the north.
