The Fleece Glacier is a glacier on the Oskar II coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows 2.5 km east of Moider Peak into the northern flank of the Leppard Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier in 1976 after the smut fleece on the whaler Pequod in Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby-Dick .
