Travis Tope (born November 11, 1991 in Bexar County , Texas ) is an American film actor .

Life

Tope was born in Texas in 1991 . Before Tope turned to acting, he lived in Plano , a suburb of Dallas . In January 2010 Tope was named an Eagle Scout as a member of Plano's Boy Scout Troop 1000 by the Boy Scouts of America , the largest US youth organization. Tope made his feature film debut in 2007 in the role of David in Divine Souls . In 2014, Tope was seen in three different films ( Little Accidents , #Zeitgeist and Wait until it gets dark ) and in six episodes of the television series Boardwalk Empire in the role of Joe Harper, for which he and his fellow actors were named best acting ensemble in one Television series - drama have been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award . In the film Independence Day: Wiederkehr , Tope can be seen in the role of the naive Charlie Miller as a friend of the ex-fighter pilot Jake Morrison, whom he has known since childhood.
