Screen Actors Guild Awards 2015
The 21 awarded by the US Screen Actors Guild Awards ( English 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards ), the Screen Actors Guild each year in the areas of film (6 categories) and television (9 categories) awards, took place on January 25, 2015 held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles . In contrast to the Golden Globe Award , for example, the so-called SAG Awards only honor film, television and ensemble actors and are a yardstick for the upcoming Oscar awards. The winners were chosen by the members of the Screen Actors Guild, which one must belong to to work as an actor in the United States .
The nominees were announced on December 10, 2014 in the Silver Screen Theater of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood by actors Eva Longoria and Ansel Elgort . In the United States, the ceremony was broadcast live on cable networks TNT and TBS .
The American actress Debbie Reynolds was honored for her life's work .
