Melissa Fumero (* 19th August 1982 in Lyndhurst, New Jersey as Melissa Gallo ) is an American actress with Cuban roots.

Life

Fumero is the daughter of Cuban parents who moved from Cuba to the United States as a teenager . She studied at New York University , where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 . She gained particular fame with her roles as Adriana Cramer in the US soap opera Love, Lies, Passion , Zoe in Gossip Girl and her leading role alongside Andy Samberg as Amy Santiago in Brooklyn Nine-Nine .

She has been married to her love, lie, passion series partner David Fumero since December 9, 2007 . On March 24, 2016, she gave birth to a son, Enzo. On February 14, 2020, she gave birth to her second son, Axel.
