Alysia Reiner (born July 21, 1970 in Gainesville , Florida ) is an American film actress . In addition to her work in film and television, she can also be seen as a stage actress in off-Broadway plays.

Alysia Reiner was born in Gainesville, Florida in 1970. She is married to actor David Alan Basche . They have been the parents of a daughter since December 5, 2008. The couple are avowed environmentalists . Like her husband, she supports cancer and other projects. In 2002, her father died of cancer .

Movie

Her first role was in the 1999 film drama The Stand-In . In 2001 she was in front of the camera for Kissing Jessica . The comedy has won awards at several film festivals. In 2004 she played the role of Christine Erganian in the comedy Sideways and received a Screen Actors Guild Award in the category Best Acting Ensemble in 2005 with the other actors . In 2007 she starred in Arranged , in which a Muslim and Jewish woman are to be forcibly married. Reiner played in 2009 in the drama The Vicious Kind alongside Adam Scott and Brittany Snow , the role of Samantha . She played Reiner's main television role in An Englishman in New York . She has also proven her work on stage in other cities, for example in Utah at the Sundance Filmmakers Lab , The Matrix Theater in Los Angeles in LA, in New Jersey at The Forum Theater and in Great Britain The Edinburgh Festival in Scotland and The Royal Court Theater in London .
