Screen Actors Guild Awards 1995
The first ceremony of the US Screen Actors Guild Awards , the Screen Actors Guild each year in the areas of film (4 categories) and television (8 categories) awards, took place on 25 February 1995 in the Universal Studios instead. In contrast to the Golden Globe Award , for example, the so-called SAG Awards only honor film, television and ensemble actors and are a yardstick for the upcoming Oscar awards. The winners are chosen by the members of the Screen Actors Guild, which one must belong to to work as an actor in the United States . In the United States, the ceremony was shown live on NBC .
