John Corbett (* 9. May 1961 as John Joseph Corbett Junior in Wheeling , West Virginia ) is an American actor .

life and career

Corbett had his first major role from 1990 to 1995 as Chris Stevens in the television series Alaska, of all things . In 1997 he took on the leading role in the series The Visitor produced by Roland Emmerich . He then took part in the series Sex and the City and took on roles in films such as Because there are you , Raise Your Voice - Live your dream and love in a roundabout way . His best known film is My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). He also starred in the sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016). The Netflix production To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018) also attracted greater attention . His work includes more than 70 film and television productions.

John Corbett has been dating actress Bo Derek since 2002 .
