Joe Lo Truglio
Joseph "Joe" Lo Truglio (born December 2, 1970 in Queens , New York City ) is an American actor , comedian and voice actor .
Life
Lo Truglio, born in New York, has Irish and Italian roots. He grew up in Margate , Florida and studied at New York University .
In 2001, Lo Truglio starred in the comedy Wet Hot American Summer , a film directed by David Wain . In 2012 he made a guest appearance on the eighth season of How I Met Your Mother . He has been part of the cast of the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine since early 2013 . He also had other appearances. a. in Superbad , Paul , role models ?! and Wanderlust as well as the prequel series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp .
In April 2014, Lo Truglio married actress Beth Dover, with whom he played Nine-Nine in Brooklyn .
