Life

His role as the skinhead combo in Shane Meadows ' This Is England earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards .
In the same year Graham got a role in the BBC series The Innocence Project, which was discontinued after only eight episodes due to poor ratings. He can also be seen in Madonna's directorial debut Filth and Wisdom , which premiered at the 2008 Berlinale . In 2009 he played alongside Johnny Depp and Oscar winners Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard in Michael Mann's Public Enemies the role of the American gangster and bank robber Babyface Nelson .
Stephen Graham also played Billy Bremner , former soccer player and coach of Leeds United in the 2009 film The Damned United . For this role, he wore a red-haired wig. Graham played the role of Al Capone on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire from 2010 to 2014 . In 2011 he played alongside Johnny Depp in the fourth part of the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
