Life

Several productions have also been made into feature films such as Mnemonic (1999) and The Elephant Vanishes (2003).
In 2002 he directed Bertolt Brecht's The Resistant Rise of Arturo Ui . It was performed at the New York Pace University theater in late 2002, starring Al Pacino .
McBurney had a long relationship with the Australian actress Jacqueline McKenzie before he met the concert pianist Cassie Yukawa on the street in 2007: "Just by chance, completely extraordinary chance. We literally just saw each other. I didn't believe that such things were true. " McBurney and Cassie Yukawa have been married since 2016 and have three children, Noma, Teyo and Mamie.
