The Loudest Voice ( English for The loudest voice ) is an American mini-series from the year 2019. The plot describes the work of Roger Ailes during the creation and the rise of Fox News . The series is based on the book of the same name by Gabriel Sherman from 2014.
action
The series begins after the death of Roger Ailes and describes in flashbacks how he designed Fox News on behalf of Rupert Murdoch , built it up into a powerful conservative broadcaster and finally had to leave because of a large number of allegations of abuse.
It shows Ailes during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks , during the 2008 and 2016 US presidential elections, and at the time of the sexual abuse allegations that ended his career.

The German-language dubbing was based on the dialogue books by Stephan Hoffmann and under the dialogue direction of Hoffmann by the dubbing company Cinephon in Berlin.

criticism
Regarding Russell Crowe's mask , the Guardian wrote that the whole series felt like a bad toupee. The Financial Times said Fox News' role in recent political events is "heartbreaking".
