Sienna Miller
Sienna Rose Diana Miller (born December 28, 1981 in New York ) is a British - American actress and fashion designer.
Life
Her father Ed Miller is a banker, her mother Jo ran the Lee Strasberg School in London . Sienna Miller was born in the USA and grew up in England, she has a British and a US passport. Her parents divorced soon after she was born. She attended Heathfield School in Ascot and discovered her passion for the arts while at school.
By February 2011, Sienna Miller and Jude Law were a couple; from March 2011 to July 2015 she was in a relationship with the actor Tom Sturridge . Their child was born in July 2012.
Career
Miller returned to New York after school and attended the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute . She has appeared in the plays The Striker , Independence and Cigarettes & Chocolate .
As a photo model , she stood in front of the camera for advertising campaigns for various brands, including fashion labels, jeans brands, calendars and drinks.
In 2002 Miller got a role in the independent film High Speed . She played other roles in the short series The American Embassy on pay-TV channel FOX and in the BBC miniseries Bedtime . At that time, she signed a seven-year contract with Paramount Pictures . Her first appearance after that was the lead role as Fiona Bickerton in the FOX series Keen Eddie . This was followed by the London crime drama Layer Cake (2004), in which she had a brief appearance alongside Daniel Craig , and a remake of the Michael Caine classic Alfie , in which she played alongside Jude Law and Marisa Tomei . Miller then got the second leading role in Casanova (2005) on the side of Heath Ledger .
In 2017 she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
