Ascot is a small town in the Parish of Sunninghill and Ascot in the Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead , Berkshire , England. The region is divided into three areas: Ascot, North Ascot, and South Ascot. At the 2001 census , Ascot, along with Sunninghill, had 11,603 residents.
Ascot is very well known for its traditional horse racing , which has been held on the Ascot Racecourse since August 11, 1711.
