The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute is an acting school with offices in the theater metropolis New York and the film metropolis Hollywood .
history
The institute was founded in 1969 by Lee Strasberg , then head of the Actors Studio in New York. This was preceded by the opening of the Actors Studio West . It still exists today. The method acting practiced there was retained. Today the school is run by his third wife, Anna Strasberg.
