Adrian Pasdar (2008)

Adrian Kayvan Pasdar (born April 30, 1965 in Pittsfield , Massachusetts ) is an American actor and director of German-Iranian origin.

life and career

After graduating from high school, he received a football scholarship to the University of Florida , but a serious car accident ended his football career ambitions and confined him to a wheelchair for several months. After successful physiotherapy, he started working as a set builder for the People's Light Theater Company , where he seriously injured his hand. Since he was entitled to a disability pension but did not want to quit his professional life entirely, he used the money to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute . He also worked as a waiter and cashier.

He played his first film role in 1986 in Top Gun alongside Tom Cruise . After a few more film appearances, he got the lead role in the series Jim Profit - A man walks over corpses in 1996 , which was discontinued after a short time.

He then played recurring roles in popular series such as Just In Case Amy and Desperate Housewives . From 2006 to 2010 he played the politician Nathan Petrelli on the NBC television series Heroes .

Adrian Pasdar was married to Natalie Maines , singer of the Chicks , from 2000 to 2017 and has two sons with her.
