Ashley Bell (born May 26, 1986 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Ashley Bell was born to actors Michael Bell and Victoria Carroll . She attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts .

After some appearances in television series such as Boston Public and CSI: Vegas , she played the role of Nell Sweetzer in the 2010 horror film The Last Exorcism and its sequel The Last Exorcism: The Next Chapter . For her performance in The Last Exorcism she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2012 she was shooting for WWE Films directed by Douglas Aarniokoski the science fiction - drama - thriller The Day - Fight. Or Die. .
