1828: Kaspar Hauser
  • 1828 : The 16-year-old Kaspar Hauser appears on the Unschlittplatz in Nuremberg and speaks to the master shoemaker Weickmann. His case soon attracted international attention.
  • 1977 : The American building climber George Willig , later known as Human Fly or Spiderman, climbed the 110 floors of the south tower of the World Trade Center and achieved international fame. At the top he is met by the police and sentenced to a symbolic fine of 1.10 dollars - 1 cent per floor.
