Johann Friedrich Doles the Younger
Johann Friedrich Doles the Younger (born May 26, 1746 in Freiberg , † April 16, 1796 in Leipzig ) was a German composer and lawyer .
Life
Johann Friedrich Doles the Elder J. was the son of the Leipzig Thomaskantor Johann Friedrich Doles .
From 1764 he studied law in Leipzig and Erlangen and became a notary and lawyer . He received musical training from his father and also composed himself. His works are stylistically similar to those of his father. Due to an accident in Erlangen, Doles had a weakened constitution throughout his life; he died after a long illness.
