Gian-Carlo Coppola
Gian-Carlo Coppola (born September 17, 1963 in Los Angeles County , California , † May 26, 1986 in Annapolis , Maryland ) was an American film actor and producer .
Life
Gian-Carlo Coppola - the eldest son of the film director Francis Ford Coppola and his wife Eleanor Coppola - was the brother of Roman and Sofia Coppola and a cousin of Nicolas Cage .
1972 The Godfather , 1974 The Dialogue and 1979 Apocalypse Now were three of his father's feature films in which Coppola played small roles. In 1983 he was both The Outsider as to Rumble Fish as a production manager on the film production involved.
Coppola married Jacqui De La Fontaine. During his wife's second month of pregnancy, Gian-Carlo Coppola was killed in a boat accident in Chesapeake Bay at the age of 22. His grave is in the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, Los Angeles . His daughter Gia Coppola was born on January 1, 1987.
