Due to a crisis in the Swedish Academy , the 2018 Nobel Prize for Literature was not awarded and was therefore awarded retrospectively in 2019. The awards took place on December 10th, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death , in Stockholm and Oslo (only Nobel Peace Prize ).
