Romy 2019

The 2019 Romy Awards took place on April 13, 2019 in the Vienna Hofburg . The Austrian television and film award Romy , organized by the daily newspaper Kurier , took place for the 30th time and was broadcast for the 29th time by ORF . The event was initially moderated by Mirjam Weichselbraun , and in the second part by Andi Knoll and Katharina Straßer .

Audience awards

The nominations for the public vote were announced on February 25, 2018. The actors Caroline Peters , Martina Ebm , Julia Jentsch , Christopher Schärf and Paula Beer , the sports presenters Michael Gigerl (Puls4), Herbert Prohaska (ORF), Thomas Trukesitz (Sky) and Alina Zellhofer (ORF) were nominated for the first time for a Romy Report presenter Susanne Schnabl and political scientist Peter Filzmaier . The Academy Awards were presented in a special ceremony on April 11, 2019.
