Silvia Schneider (born May 27, 1982 in Linz ) is an Austrian television presenter , actress , fashion designer and lawyer .

She became known through the moderation of the formats PINK! and Heart of Austria on the Austrian private broadcaster Puls 4 and the cooking show Game of Chefs on the German private broadcaster VOX . From 2015 to 2018 she also moderated the Kiddy Contest .

Life

Silvia Schneider grew up in Linz as the first of two children with a Polish mother and an Austrian father. After attending elementary school at the school center of the Kreuzschwestern Linz , she obtained her Matura at the Khevenhüller grammar school there in 2000 . After studying dance at the Stage School Hamburg , she began studying law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen in 2002 , which she completed in 2010 as a Magistra iuris at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz .

Schneider began her career in television during her studies. In 2005 she started working for the Austrian private broadcaster LT1 , where she presented the news and the city ​​magazine . She has been with Puls 4 since 2011 , where she is PINK! moderated. In 2014 she hosted the casting show Herz von Österreich and, together with Alfons Haider, the election for Miss Austria . Since the beginning of 2017 she has been part of the regular ensemble of the comedy TV series Vurschrift is Vurschrift on the TV broadcaster Puls 4, alongside the cabaret artists Christian Hölbling alias "Helfried", Ciro de Luca , Rudi Roubinek and Andreas Vitasek. She moderates with Verena Schneider Since May 29, 2017 the daily talk show Today at the Schneiders on Puls 4.

In the second season of the ServusTV series Meiberger - In the head of the perpetrator (2019), she embodies a lawyer.

In 2017, Silvia Schneider was nominated for the Romy film and television award in the show / entertainment category.

She was in a relationship with the Austrian singer Andreas Gabalier from 2013 to September 2019 .
